Have you been in a position where you either could stand up for Godly values or turn your back on them? These are situations we may find ourselves in, and we want to know how to "Courageously Stand".
We were excited to begin a series at MGC called "Courageous". Everything we do this month of March is to keep us focused on being Courageous in different areas. At the end of the month on the 30th we will be showing the "Courageous" movie at the church. We would love to have you come and bring a friend.
One of the highlights of the Sunday morning actually occurred after the morning service. We have started a dance team and under the leadership of Carolyn Williams, seven of our girls from the church age 7-20 had their first practice. These gals of which two were in a morning service for the very first time, were amazing. It was hard to watch the practice without our eyes tearing up. If you want to see their first performance be sure to attend our Easter service on April the 8th.
It was such a blessing to have some new folks out today for the very first time. We had nine people out to our service that loved what they witnessed. Of the nine that came, seven were there as a result of their teens and children inviting them. We know for certain that all seven of these folks will be back often. It is always a blessing to see new people attending and drawing closer to Jesus.
Scottie did a great job leading us in worship as usual and he was accompanied by our worship team. They focused on standing up for Jesus as well. I am reminded as I worship that we make declarations to Jesus through our words that we sing. Worship is one of the most powerful ways to express our hearts to our King!
God is good and we would love to see you at MGC.
